Evil Dead: The Musical is back this fall and it is going to be bigger and bloodier than last year’s hit! for starters, we have teamed up with the awesome folks at Olympia Entertainment and this year all performances will take place in Detroit’s fabulous City Theatre. the show opens Fri Oct 8th and runs for four weekends, ending on Sun Oct 31st. you can see it Fridays & Saturdays at 8PM and Sundays at 3PM. we will also have two bloody fun midnight shows on Saturday Oct 23 and Saturday Oct 30. tickets are $30 for general seats or $35 for the Splatter Zone (the first three rows…watch out!). you can get more information and tickets HERE. any tickets purchased through ticketmaster  have a service charge, but you can purchase tickets with no service charge from the box offices at the Fox Theatre, Joe Louis Arena, and City Theatre (also at Troy’s Hockeytown Authentics). some similar faces (like our Ash, the 2010 winner for Best Actor in a Musical, Mitchell Koory!) and some new ones. it should be a total blast. check out some of the fun promo pics below and make sure to get your tickets before it’s too late!!

Mommie! Die! by Charles Busch. it’s a fabulous throw-back to the melodramatic, big screen soaps of the 60′s and i’m back in the director’s chair. the show opens May 14 and plays for 4 weeks. find the promo poster and cast list below and keep your eyes peeled for more information and press shots to be coming in the next couple of weeks!!

Jamie Warrow is Bonnie, Ashley Shamoon tackles Donna, and Cassandra McCarthy returns to the Ringwald stage (yayyyy!) as Darlene. their scenes with the gents are fantastic and there’s an awful lot of heart in there. so check it out and tell me what you think! it plays this friday-monday and continues with that same schedz through April 26.
