it’s crazy that the holiday season is among us already! opening tomorrow, riday the 19th of november, is the Harry Kondoleon dramedy, Christmas on Mars. and opening in two weeks is the latest creation from Sweet Love Productions (who brought The Real Housewives of the North Pole to ferndlae last year!) and The Ringwald: F$$$ the Holidays: A Seasonal Retail Story. the production is written by Cara Trautman and Marke Sobolewski and features the crazy pair along with Caker Melissa Beckwith and Ringwald newcomer Joe Hingelberg. i’ll be directing this bad boy and it opens december 3rd at 10:30pm. it plays friday and saturday late night and sundays at 5:30 for the first two weekends and then on the final weekend it plays friday, december 17th at 8pm, sunday december 19th at 3pm, and monday december 20th at 8pm. all tickets are ONLY $10 and can be reserved HERE. check out the poster and press photos below!

the next show to hit the Ringwald stage will be Harry Kondoleon’s Christmas on Mars which will play from Fri, Nov 19th through Mon, Dec 13th. it is a kooky show featuring Jamie Warrow, Jon Ager, Joel Mitchell, and Leah Smith. seriously, i have been one BAD BLOGGER! it’s been ages since i last wrote and i am SO sorry!! it was a wild fall with EVIL DEAD: THE MUSICAL tearing it up down at The City Theatre and SHINING CITY creeping folks out at The Ringwald. EVIL DEAD: THE MUSICAL is BACK!

holy crap! it’s totally true. Evil Dead: The Musical is back this fall and it is going to be bigger and bloodier than last year’s hit! for starters, we have teamed up with the awesome folks at Olympia Entertainment and this year all performances will take place in Detroit’s fabulous City Theatre. the show opens Fri Oct 8th and runs for four weekends, ending on Sun Oct 31st. you can see it Fridays & Saturdays at 8PM and Sundays at 3PM. we will also have two bloody fun midnight shows on Saturday Oct 23 and Saturday Oct 30. tickets are $30 for general seats or $35 for the Splatter Zone (the first three rows…watch out!). you can get more information and tickets HERE. any tickets purchased through ticketmaster have a service charge, but you can purchase tickets with no service charge from the box offices at the Fox Theatre, Joe Louis Arena, and City Theatre (also at Troy’s Hockeytown Authentics). some similar faces (like our Ash, the 2010 winner for Best Actor in a Musical, Mitchell Koory!) and some new ones. it should be a total blast. check out some of the fun promo pics below and make sure to get your tickets before it’s too late!!
